Job Description



Oliver Wyman is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of data management principles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our organization's data assets and will be principally responsible for assisting our Salesforce Platform Manager with the maintenance of our Salesforce platform.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Partner with our Salesforce Platform Manager to develop and implement data management strategies and policies to maintain and improve the integrity and quality of the organization's Salesforce data

  • Clean and maintain Salesforce data, including but not limited to:

    • Account records: validate new Accounts and ensure that key fields are populated

    • Account/Contact duplication management

    • Report/Dashboard clean-up and folder organization/management



  • Develop and implement data quality metrics and standards. Regularly monitor data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

  • Mitigate risks by ensuring the quality and accuracy of data

  • Assist with maintenance of our Salesforce instance, such as:

    • User creation/deactivation and license management

    • Report/Dashboard folder management and permissions

    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards

    • User training and training materials



  • Document and maintain operational processes and procedures related to Salesforce

  • Creating and distributing periodic reports for FP&A managers, team leaders, and other key stakeholders

  • Answer general Salesforce questions and provide technical support and basic training to end-users

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data management and governance. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends




Experience Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in data management, governance, or similar roles

  • Basic understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

    • Experience with Salesforce as a user or in an administrative capacity (Trailhead modules or Salesforce Administrator Certification) is a plus






Skills and Attributes:



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel using advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, andother formulas)

  • Experience with Tableau or other BI tools

  • Superior attention to detail, and well-organized with a commitment to data accuracy

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Research skills - searching multiple data sources and compiling them accurately into one spot

  • Strong verbal/written skills with the ability to communicate effectively

  • Strong initiative/seek and accept new challenges, have a high level of intellectual curiosity as it relates to new projects, and finding solutions to problems

  • Is coachable and possesses a strong desire to learn and grow

  • Self-starter who can motivate themselves in a remote work structure but can also thrive in a team environment

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment

The applicable base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000


The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, exams, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
