Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Applications Developer - IT Applications to join their dynamic, agile product team. This is a 100% remote opportunity, with a preference for candidates in the EST or Central time zones.

As an Applications Developer, you will be part of an eCommerce digital department, working on the backend of our client's website. Your role will involve developing performant and scalable features/solutions, maintaining third-party integrations and feeds, and ensuring site stability and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement features/solutions that meet technical specs and acceptance criteria
- Maintain third-party integrations and feeds
- Participate in the estimation of the product team's work
- Proactively communicate status, questions, and issues to technical lead/manager
- Follow established processes, policies, standards, and procedures to assure compliance
- Stay current with retail industry and technology trends

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in relevant technologies
- Experience developing on leading Enterprise eCommerce Platforms
- Working knowledge with CI/CD tracking tool (Jenkins, Teamcity etc.)
- Experience with JavaScript and libraries such as Node, Express, jQuery, AngularJS, React, Vue, etc.
- Experience with consuming RESTful web services
- Working knowledge with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with backend development languages, such as Node JS, Express, Python, GoLang, Java, Ruby, PHP, or other
- Experience with building with microservices-based architecture
- Experience creating and managing API integrations and data feeds
- Working knowledge of database concepts including SQL, working knowledge of noSQL is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
