The ETO & Sustaining Engineering Supervisor (Electrical) will lead a team of engineers responsible for Engineered-to-Order (ETO) and Product Sustaining for the AC Power line of business. The product line will encompass UPS and Power Switching and Distribution Products for use in Data Centers. The supervisor will prioritize and assign work, monitor team and individual performance, and drive continuous improvement.
This position will be located onsite at Vertiv's Delaware, OH location.
Responsibilities:
Work with manager to set and track team KPIs, metrics, and capacity.
Manage, delegate, and track all ETO and Sustaining projects.
Perform VAVE analysis to identify areas of high cost and eliminate them.
Work with manager and cross functional teams to resolve roadblocks and improve performance.
Review individual team member's performance and provide improvement feedback.
Train and onboard new team members as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
5+ years experience in related engineering position
Proven ability to manage a team of engineers with multiple disciplines.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects. Project management experience required.
Must be detail oriented, have good planning and organization, and communication skills.
Knowledgeable on 3-phase transformers, power conversion and calculations.
Knowledgeable on 3-phase UPS and Power Distribution Products.
Knowledgeable on circuit breakers, batteries and circuit monitoring equipment.
Knowledgeable on NEC requirements such as wire and cable sizing, bend radius, and conduit sizing.
Proven ability to read schematics and single line diagrams.
Proven experience working with PLM systems (BOM and Engineering Change Order management)
Proven experience working with SolidEdge, Creo or similar 3D CAD software.
Preferred experience with UL requirements.
