Skills and Qualifications:


  • Academic Level:

    • High School diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Language(s) and level of proficiency:

    • English
  • Knowledge/Experience:

    • At least 2+ years' experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations; Extrusion knowledge and experience preferred
    • Computer tech savvy; Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook, Teams
    • Experience with MPR environment to support mix mode build-to-order using captive and contract manufacturing resources.
  • Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws):

    • Prolonged periods on the plant floor or warehouse area working in a manufacturing environment that may require walking, standing, etc. including operating a forklift.
    • Will spend time in an office environment, on a computer or in meetings.
    • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
    • Must be able to work in variable weather conditions and in an environment with many noises
    • Comfortable wearing appropriate PPE while in production and warehouse areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • What is in it Plans and establishes production scheduled for a wide variety of manufacturing departments involving diversified components, assemblies, and inserts to conform to requirements of the production schedule. Allocates to proper work center.
  • Releases orders to individual departments. Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of production and reviews factors that affect schedules.
  • Makes necessary modifications to schedules, issues orders to the appropriate departments due to revisions. May direct the work activities if one or more employees in the production control function.
  • Reports daily success rate to schedule
  • Works with corporate office, cross functional teams and participates in daily meetings with the site operations team
  • Work with CSRs/Sales on order management to meet customer delivery expectations
  • Extract data from SAP to create analysis tools and measurements to track and report lead-times
  • Publish recommended lead times by analysis of historical performance / established plan
  • Coordinate with the Materials/Production Manager to coordinate purchasing and supplier activity with the production schedule

The compensation for this position will typically start at $20.00 an hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.

The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
