We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Equipment Support Technician I to join our team in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This part-time role is a key contributor to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, helping us uphold our mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life.

As a Weekend Equipment Support Technician I, you will perform critical tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of all manufacturing equipment inside and outside of a controlled environment.

Medtronic Perfusion Campus, in Brooklyn Park, is Medtronic's center of excellence for the design and manufacturing of Perfusion products. The Equipment support technician team enables operations to achieve a cost-effective product in a repeatable manner -- day in and day out.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.

  • Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

  • Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs in Mainsaver.

  • Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.

  • May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.

  • May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.

  • Support Scrap and labor efficiency projects.

  • Submit and remediate hazardous observations.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have


  • Medical device manufacturing environment experience.

  • Mainsaver or other CMMS experience.

  • Ability to read schematics

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$40,800.00 - $61,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
