What We Do:
Corporate Controllers Function’s (CCF) mission is to ensure the integrity of the Bank's financial reporting and accounting by providing of high-quality leadership and services. CCF consults with the Bank, Board, and System (our Partners) on policy matters and provides direct accounting and oversight of the Bank's financial transactions and reporting. CCF is also responsible for the Financial Statement Reporting Risk, one of the Bank's key risk types. CCF's services are provided through team members with first and second lines of defense responsibilities that are appropriately segregated to ensure proper checks and balances. These team members are experts at their profession, serving as educators, consultants, and service providers. Our portfolio of service solutions covers a range of areas focused on Accounting Policy & Risk Management as well as Financial Accounting and Reporting.
The Capital and CASPR Accounting team manages the financial records of the Bank's capital asset and prepaid asset portfolio. In addition, this team supports the Bank's need for cost accounting (CASPR) infrastructure support for the Budget (support tables etc.)
Your Role as a Capital and CASPR Accounting Associate:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounting of capitalized assets and expenses impacting the balance sheet and income statement
Partner with business areas throughout the Bank to conduct the financial operations involved with end-to-end processing of the capital budget and expenses
Compile, review, analyze, record, and reconcile financial information to the general ledger and ensure the Bank complies with District and System policies, standards, and procedures
Analyze, resolve and answer complex or difficult issues presented by team members, Bank staff, or other stakeholders
Participate in CASPR (Cost Accounting Strategic Planning & Reporting) Compliance efforts which includes Support Allocation preparation and reviews and coordination with Corporate Controllers compliance.
Work with the Business Finance Partner analysts and their customers on all CASPR related issues and processes.
Support the Function, Bank, and System through participating in projects and workgroups.
Guide decentralized accounting staff by training and consulting
Handle customer service inquiries that require research and analysis
Perform other duties as assigned
What We are Looking For:
Strong experience in public accounting or financial reporting, or accounting.
Demonstrated advanced analytical skills and knowledge of internal controls and accounting operations
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.

Salary Range: $140,000-$190,000 / year
