Job Summary

Responsible for selling various medical products and solutions to customers within their sales market. Prospect, establish relationships, and close deals with healthcare facilities, equipment dealers, and medical product suppliers within assigned territory.

Job Description


  • Sell clinical, operational, and medical solutions to all levels of decision-makers including owners, senior clinical officers and purchasing managers.


  • Manage current accounts; maintain existing business and cross-sell new products and/or services.


  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with new customers and foster relationships with existing customers.


  • Call on sales division market contacts.  Work to close Medline business with healthcare facilities, equipment dealers and medical product suppliers within assigned territory.


  • Responsible for prospecting and cold-calling to develop new business opportunities.


  • Develop and apply a deep knowledge of Medline’s product catalog and value-added programs and services.


  • Present new products and initiatives.  Educate customers on current industry trends and regulations.


  • Prepare bids and price quotes; negotiate contract terms.


  • Manage and respond to A/R issues.


  • Create and review sales reports as necessary.


  • Maintain expense and sample accounts. Monitor account inventory levels and order processing.


Required Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience



  • Demonstrated track record of sales growth and quota attainment.


    Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization.



  • Proven ability to identify, connect with, build consensus and close new business.


  • Ability to present multiple product lines.


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft products.
