Kastle Systems is a leading Business to Business (B2B) provider of security-as-a-managed-service.
The Project Manager, Enterprise Accounts, is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating activities relating to Projects, Work Orders and Change Orders to ensure its services are provided accurately and on time, and that these services meet or exceed client expectations. The Project Manager is accountable for the overall success of all their assigned Kastle projects. To that end, this individual interacts directly with the client, client representatives, other contractors (including Kastle’s sub contractors) and Kastle personnel to ensure a successful installation. The Project Manager will assist with managing the planning, scheduling and coordinating of activities within installation to ensure that Kastle system install or change orders are provided accurately and on time, under budget, and that these services meet or exceed client expectations. Leading to and during the service implementation, the Project Manager provides a single point of contact for client representatives and the installation team, to ensure timely and accurate sharing of information to support smooth and efficient system installations.
Responsibilities
Manage the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of new access control, security and video systems
Initiate and conduct the contract review and implementation process, and generate followup proposals and contract amendments as warranted
Initiate and conduct security system consultation and other services in response to customer requests
Generate project schedules, provide progress reports on project status, and generate turn-on documents, billing adjustments and invoicing directions for accounting to ensure progress billing and final billing is performed on a timely basis
Track budgets and resources for each individual project
Confer with Kastle departments, building and tenant representatives to discuss issues and facilitate solutions to eliminate delays, assess progress and discuss needed changes
Act as project liaison between Kastle departments and client during implementation, effectively managing, coordinating and communicating the needs and expectations of all stakeholders, through coordination and attendance at client /department meetings and briefings and/or phone calls and e-mails
Provide regular progress updates to all stakeholders, internal and external.
Revise project schedules to determine personnel and materials requirements and priorities
Provide accurate documentation for completed work.
Provide feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
Communicate with Managers and/or Sales Representatives to resolve discrepancies or issues.
Ensure that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
Provide Client Services with training on client specifications and rules, occasionally walk-through job sites and resolve remaining hand-off issues
Communicate with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
Stay up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures
Qualifications
2-5 years successful experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision.
Basic knowledge of IP, Ethernet and networking protocol and Cat5 technologies.
Professional construction experience and knowledge of door hardware, electric and mechanical locking devices and building codes pertaining to construction, fire and electrical systems.
Ability to perform detailed work, being careful about detail and being thorough in completing tasks.
Ability to come up with relevant and creative ideas, analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
Demonstrated self-composure, adaptability, persistence, a high tolerance for stress and unquestionable integrity.
Ability and desire to work well with others.
Ability to write and maintain accurate daily records.
Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and/or nights when required.
PMP Certification a Plus
Project managing access control, video systems or other related electronic systems installations a Plus.
Ability and knowledge to use computer and effectively use Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook and other Kastle internal tools to facilitate business processes
