Overview
Programmatic and Technical Support
The contractor shall provide comprehensive programmatic and technical support for the Space Launch System (SLS). This includes support for current and future SLS-related business areas, such as:
Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) and Core Stages
SLS Exploration Production and Operations Contract (EPOC)
Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Commercial Operations, Management, and Test (COMET)
Other future programs associated with SLS and KSC
Development of Deliverables
The contractor shall lead the development of both internal and external deliverables for SLS acquisitions. Specific deliverables include:
Management Volumes: Comprehensive planning and organization of management-related content.
Planning Schedules: Timelines that outline key milestones and activities.
Strategic Road Maps: Documents that include internal decision points, external influences, and customer acquisition milestones.
NASA Insight Implementation Strategy: Alignment to SLS Lean initiatives.
Phase-In/Transition Plans: Comprehensive plans for smooth program transitions.
Gate Packages: Deliverables required by Space and Launch Business Development senior management.
Customer Deliverables: Capability statements, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought inquiries.
Recommendations for Process Improvement
Develop and recommend concepts for a reusable database system to enable faster and more efficient proposal turnaround times.
Support for Future Programs
The contractor shall provide support for other future programs related to SLS operations and vehicle integration. Anticipated deliverables include:
Responses to Sources Sought
Capability Statements
Request for Information (RFI) responses
Development of competitive assessments and win strategies
Meeting and Milestone Support
The contractor shall assist in preparation for and participation in the following meetings and milestones, including applicable product development:
Color Team Preparation and Support
Applicable Gate Reviews
Proposal Response Strategy Workshops
Customer Meetings
Industry Meetings
Procurement Integrity Training
The contractor shall complete the Procurement Integrity Training course (TR005347), which includes a certification.

NASA Insight Implementation Plan

Management and Executive Summary Drafts with Recommendations
Gate Reviews (as identified by SLS leadership)

Responsibilities
Bachelors degree with a minimum of three (5) years in technical writing
Must have prior Technical Writing or Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have experience writing documentation and processes.
Must have experience with verification. Must have strong computer experience.
Must be able to pass drug and background test
US Citizen REQUIRED for Government contract compliance with the ability to obtain access to NASA facilities
