Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Sr. Project Manager II with 8+ years' experience for work in St. Louis, MO, supporting an Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Target web development project. Summary:

Our software engineering teams employ an Agile Scrum process to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities into mature Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for leading delivery at the team level for multiple teams, assisting with managing the flow of work, creatively solving problems to accomplish outcomes, tracking team output and achievements, and identifying continuous process improvement opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects of medium to large scale through all iterations and phases of the project.

  • Participate in a highly collaborative team environment, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle using Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

  • Continually identify how teams can improve, while also resolving impediments and other blocking issues that arise during the sprint.

  • Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management.

  • Actions often include visualizing work, limiting work in progress, managing workflow, planning, mid, and long-range planning, backlog refinement and other planning meetings.

  • Partner with the Team Leads in backlog prioritization as well as tracking and reporting metrics, providing visibility to the team and stakeholders and ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities to improve team-level Agile performance; focus teams on customer value, quality, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Remove impediments (blockers) to the team and coordinate conflict resolution.

  • Provide direction to project activities to ensure successful implementation and support.

  • Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase their velocity.

  • Promote collaborative team environments that foster experimentation, creativity, and innovation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical, computer science, or STEM discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience.

  • 8 or more years ( Eight +) years of experience in a Technical Project Management role.

  • Experience leading projects under Agile/Scrum methodologies in a cloud environment.

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps and/or software development processes

  • Advanced knowledge of software/system engineering principles, methods, and techniques

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-managed, strong self-organization skills, and eager to contribute

  • Keen attention to detail and analytical mindset

  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.

  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.

  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

  • Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Access

  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
