Schedule: 1st Shift
How will you make an impact? As an Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of products and materials through thorough inspection processes. Your efforts will ensure that all products meet the necessary visual, mechanical, and dimensional standards, while maintaining documentation accuracy and supporting compliance.
What will you do?
Inspection Functions:
Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products and materials for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics using inspection sheets and sampling plans.
Prepare and ensure compliance of documentation for all inspected items.
Assist in training co-workers on new or improved inspection techniques.
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials or products.
Work from inspection documentation, specifications, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
Perform “Roving Auditor” functions, inspecting products within a Manufacturing Flow Cell.
Perform other related duties as required.
How will you get here?
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
One year of experience using inspection techniques in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with Microsoft PC applications.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
ASQ (American Society for Quality) courses preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, plug gauges, and hardness testers.
Proficient in math skills and color verification, with strong hand/eye coordination.
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment with various functional groups.
High attention to detail to ensure products are properly labeled and packaged according to internal quality standards.
Ability to learn and use PC applications as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
ASQ (American Society for Quality) coursework.
Prior experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical inspection roles.
Work Environment:
Must wear appropriate safety gear, including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and gown covers.
Environment may be warm due to required PPE.
Noise levels are generally moderate.
Listening devices are not permitted while working.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to stand for scheduled work hours, if required.

The hourly pay range for this role is $15.00 - $25.17. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
