Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Titleist Golf Ball Marketing Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing operations within the Titleist golf ball brand. The Golf Ball Marketing Intern will play a crucial role in coordinating and reporting on the distribution of promotional displays, launch kits, and other marketing collateral. This position is ideal for someone with an interest in marketing who is looking to expand their knowledge and experience in the field.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Inventory and SKU management: Conduct weekly audits of golf ball marketing item inventory levels, report back to marketing team on status, cancel orders for items that will not be reordered and remove SKU's from sales/Oasis.

  • Data Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, report on sales rep marketing material spend allocation and placements, generating reports/presentations to track the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

  • Team Collaboration: Work with the product marketing team, including exposure to product management, creative, and golf ball fitting and education departments, to support various marketing initiatives.

  • Learning and Development: Take advantage of opportunities to learn about the workflow of marketing operations, product management, creative processes, and golf ball fitting and education.


Secondary Responsibilities:


Support internal coordination of product launch and promotional collateral: Monitor distribution of collateral for new product releases, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Sales Rep communication may be needed to ensure clear and consistent communication regarding the launch of promotional materials and marketing initiatives.


In-Store Visits: Attend local in-store visits with marketing team to verify the placement and effectiveness of promotional materials.


Qualifications:



  • Interest in Marketing: A strong interest in marketing and a desire to learn more about the field.

  • Must be enrolled full time in a 2 or 4 year academic program- candidates studying marketing, data analytics, or a related course of study strongly preferred

  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Customer Focus: Comfortable with occasional in-store visits and engaging with retail staff.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic data reporting.

  • Interest in or exposure to the golf industry strongly preferred
