Press Assistant - Nights at Lakeside Book Company in Kendallville, Indiana

Job Description:

Starting Range: Up to $20.00 an hour (based on experience) for day shift with a 5% an hour shift differential for night shift.

Work Hours: 12-hour Night shift

Location: 3094 Lester Dr. Kendallville, IN

As our Press Assistant, you will:

• Assist the Press Operator with the everyday operation of the press
• Ensure Press is producing product to exceed our customers' expectations
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career
• Move gathered books from end of press and place on skids

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
• Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift

Qualifications:

• Experience - Previous machine experience preferred
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, comfortable with computer applications.
• Ability to work in teams or alone and ability to motivate other team members
