Job Description:


Academic Program Manager



o International Academic Programs: will include involvement with international student recruitment; developing international student support programs on campus; developing international student exchange and 2+2 programs; promoting and facilitating student participation in Study Abroad programs; pursuing Scholar exchange programs (Fulbright, etc.)

o Coordinate outreach, advising, and support for students to pursue nationally and internationally recognized fellowships and scholarships, like Gilman, Truman, and Goldwater

o Coordinating development of Frederick Honors College Expansion at UPJ

o Updating and expanding articulation agreements with 2-year schools

o Participation in developing new dual enrollment programs

o Coordinating casework support for EdSights program

o Provide additional support for academic program development as directed by the VP of Academic Affairs.


Job Summary

Provides direction, oversight, and goal-development for the Student Support Services program and assigned units. Oversees programs and services, advises student groups, and performs various budgetary functions.


Essential Functions

Must be able to assist students in a wide variety of situations and work in a timely manner.


Physical Effort

Minimal physical effort is required. Mostly sedentary.
