Position Summary:



Financial Controller for Munters Data Center Technologies US Organization, a rapidly growing manufacturing business with (2) primary manufacturing facilities as well as service and other functional areas of the business.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



• Manage Accounting, Financial Reporting & Analysis for data center technologies business in the Americas


• Coordinates with other divisions and US Financial Operations group running shared financial services(A/P, Payroll, General Ledger and Tax)


• Maintain sales reporting and provide analytical support to the business


• Supervise monthly closing and reporting processes, maintaining detailed balance sheet analysis, audit and support.


• Prepare monthly P&L forecasts, annual budgets and participate in the strategic planning process. Assist with cash flow forecasts as needed.


• Submit monthly financial reporting, KPI's, and analysis package to through group consolidation software.


• Primary point of contact for all audit related activities


• Lead the Americas DCT finance organization (1-2 general ledger accountants)


• Lead the development of best practices for operating working capital improvements.


• Responsible for adhering to corporate internal controls and serve as primary point of contact for the company's external auditors.


• Oversight of Invoicing, Contract and Progress Billing, and Credit functions.



Job Qualifications:



• 7-10 Years progressive Accounting experience, at least 5 in Industry / Manufacturing, preferably in a Controllership or Assistant Controllership role.


• Deep knowledge of an ERP system.


• Prior experience in manufacturing and cost / job costing.


• Strong organizational skills.


• Ability to interact with other areas of the business including Sales, Service, Engineering, R&D and Operations.


• Experience and familiarity with multinational environment including currency, transfer pricing, intercompany commerce.


• Excellent spreadsheet skills and proficiency with database reporting tools (Business Objects, Crystal Reports, etc) and experience using those tools to automate reporting, improve analysis, etc.


• Possess a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to improve the finance department through the better use of software and automation tools.


• Solid communication and leadership skills, and an understanding of the importance of having fun as a team while we work hard on behalf of the organization.


• Good Working knowledge of GAAP, familiarity with IFRS



Education:



• Bachelors Degree, CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
