The Position The Public Works Director reports to the Town Manager and is responsible for directly supervising the Public Works Department staff. Other responsibilities include participation and co-management of the Parks, Open Space and Trails (POST) Committee. Qualifications Minimum Required: Bachelors degree in engineering, public administration or related field. Experience in management/supervision. At least five years progressively responsible experience in Public Works, including at least three years of experience in supervision. Experience may substitute for education requirement. Valid Colorado drivers license. Preferred: Masters degree or PE. Experience with water treatment and distribution; Class "C" certification Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $140,909 - $204,318 DOQ Benefit Summary in Brief... Health Insurance Town covers 85% for family and 100% for individual (includes vision and dental) Life Insurance $100,000 Employee Policy, plus additional voluntary life insurance available; paid by employee.
