Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated IT Test Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems, with a particular focus on data validation and test script creation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the identification of Test Scenarios and Test Cases
- Create and maintain Test Scenarios and Test Cases, including steps and expected results
- Identify and manage Test Data across test environments
- Execute Functional Tests and document test execution using HP ALM
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot functional, technical, and integration-related defects
- Document defects using HP ALM and communicate issues, risks, and daily testing status to the Team Lead or Test Lead

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience testing POS systems and a proven track record of working with systems that integrate with POS systems. Experience in identifying and writing test scenarios and test cases, as well as managing test data across test environments, is essential. Proficiency in Spanish and French for POS translation is a plus.

Qualifications:
- Experience with HP ALM / Quality Center, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools
- Delivery experience on projects in Agile methodology
- Retail domain experience preferred
- Functional Testing experience and familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- SQL knowledge in the retail Domain is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactive participation in a team environment
- Effective documentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills to assist in problem-solving and decision-making

This role is based at our client's location and requires on-site presence 3-5 days a week.
