Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Summer 2025) at Clarios, LLC in Middletown, Delaware

Job Description:

What You Will Do

• To support the capacity needs for US and the demand across the US.


• To support a quality initiative for improving scrap related to mismatched Top and Front Labels as well as misaligned labels getting to the customers.


• New projects to reduce labor cost in the US in automating opportunities.


• Working with SMEs on supporting DCs on day-to-day related to production.

How You Will Do It

• Supporting and implementing 5S or projects in SLI, AGM or Shipping.


• Supporting projects in SLI or AGM on throughput improvements.


• Supporting top 3 scrap initiatives.


• Supporting day-to-day production issues in troubleshooting and repairs.

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university


• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering.


• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.


• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer


• 
  Duration: Summer 2025. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.


• 
  Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in Middletown, DE.

Middletown, Delaware is home to a distribution center that charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2011 and now employ more than 350 people and operate six days per week. Our employees are actively involved in the community and support a variety of local organizations, including the Middletown/Odessa/Townsend Senior Center and local fire departments.
