At Doctors of Physical Therapy, our support team is the glue of our clinics. We are looking for a full time Patient Care Coordinator and Advocate to uphold our excellent customer service and contribute to the patient experience. PCC responsibilities: includes but not limited to: answering phones, scanning, faxing, scheduling, new patient registration, co-pay collect/over the counter collections, reporting and remote FDC duties as assigned by the front desk supervisor.
PCA responsibilities: include logistics involved with assisting patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist as well as housekeeping duties.
Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment that is efficient. Prior medical experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Greet patients
Effectively communicate patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments.
Provides detailed instructions to patients for their visits.
Reviews and evaluates patient charts for data entry accuracy.
Work as a team to ensure we have an efficient working environment to ensure that calls are made timely to patients and referral sources.
Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation/Medical services and medical terminology.
Answering phones
Patient registration/data entry
Scanning/faxing/other clerical duties
Collecting copay's and patient balances
Patient scheduling-Schedule Management
Patient Care assistance as needed
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of Insurance benefits
