Program and inspect manufactured product using CMM / PC DMIS
Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
Inspect manufactured and/or processed products using hand measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparator).
Interpret planning documents, tool design and engineering drawings, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete, and precise records of inspection
Responsible for inspecting raw material, metal castings, forgings, extrusions, and machined parts.
Advance experience required with CMM programming and PC-DMIS programming.
Capable of working with CATIA Models, Solid Work, IGES, and STEP Files.
Advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).
Some exposure to CAD CAM, CNC Programming, DPD, and MBD.
Proficient at using measurement instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, height gage, pin gages, optical comparator, plug/thread gages, radius gages, etc.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 preferred.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Read and Write in English. Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Years of Experience required: 5 years Quality Assurance or related experience.
Education Requirements: Minimum High school diploma, Vocational training, 2 years of programming training and or hands-on experience.
Essential Physical Functions
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and overtime if needed
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
