Description: Our client is currently seeking a Communication Specialist!


Scope of role:


Location: San Antonio, TX or telecommute from Texas or Florida
Hours: 9am to 5pm


Job Engagement: Contract to hire



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Designs and coordinates direct patient communications with a specific focus on acquisition, integration and operational changes in care notifications (provider change, term or move; clinic closure or move; payer term; panel movement, etc.),


• Position may include creation and deployment of nonclinical patient emails, project tracking and adherence to compliance and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required


• Strong writing and communication skills required.


• Needs knowledge of MS Office suite and Outlook, and ability to track tasks and prioritize to deliver results on time.


• Track projects in Workfornt.


• Ability to problem solve.
