We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Lead for our new operations in Enfield, NC. This role directs and coordinates activities of vendors and workers engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment; and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of industrial plant or other establishment by performing the following duties personally or through peers:
Principal Responsibilities:
Manages maintenance work requests, determines priority and assigns appropriate resource.
Ensures team members comply with all safety, environmental and manufacturing practices.
Communicates to production and quality assurance equipment break downs and estimated time need to complete repairs.
Confers with venders, management and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measure to improve operation and conditions of machine and equipment.
Documents and reports maintenance work performed and advises of future requirements in a timely manner.
Inspects, services, repairs and constructs plant processing equipment, including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and pressure vessel work throughout the plant.
Performs the preventative maintenance program established by the Company.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
Lubricates and cleans parts, equipment and machinery.
Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.
Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
Participates and contributes to company safety program.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: One year certificate from college or technical school preferred
Experience: Three years' industrial maintenance experience
License/Certification: N/A
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Experience required in hydraulics, electrical, pumps, valves, welding
Excellent trouble shooting skills
Basic mechanical knowledge in wood industry preferred
Experience in fabrication and welding of various metals (including pipe welding)
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings
