Position Details:

The Stella-Jones Railway Ties team is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join our inside sales support team at our Pittsburgh office. In this role, you will be responsible for processing orders, quotes, bids and contracts. Additionally, the position involves answering incoming calls, working directly with customers to help answer questions, working with production plants to ensure delivery schedules meet customer requirements and assisting Regional Sales Managers with quotes as well as gathering sales and marketing information.

This position is newly added due to team growth and will be office-based in Pittsburgh (at 1000 Cliff Mine Road) with an opportunity to work on a hybrid office/remote basis once trained and integrated into the team. Key Duties:

• Enter quotes and orders into the ERP system
• Provide quotes and assist Regional Sales Managers
• Work closely with customers to answer inquiries
• Help coordinate shipments with Plants and Transportation Department
• Update orders with revised delivery dates
• Conduct weekly order status meetings with assigned manufacturing plants
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Work experience in a customer service or inside sales support role required; Two or more years of experience working with B2B or industrial customers preferred
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) required
  
• SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred
  
• Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail
• French or Spanish language skills a plus
