POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Collaborates with key stakeholders to coordinate, develop and execute service strategies to achieve short and long term business objectives within region as it relates to service activities and program. Drive execution of key CVG initiatives to achieve Group, BU and Regional level goals . Maximize regional personnel performance by managing, developing and motivating service employees to deliver unsurpassed patient care, physician/AHP service and technical expertise in the hospital, clinic and other care settings.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service Leadership

  • Lead all CVG service related activities and programs to efficiently optimize resources, deliver customer value and deliver exceptional service

  • Work with district(s)/territories/Regional Sales Coordinators to ensure efficient and effective scheduling of CRDM implant and follow-up coverage

  • Partner with sales team to drive key service initiatives and provide service assessments via periodic business reviews, RFPs, etc. that highlight the value of Med tronic service to our customers

  • Lead and drive changes focused on service burden reducti on and new service models

  • Work with regional and district leadership to align resources based on business priorities and appropriate service demands

CVG

  • Partner with RVP and CVG DMs and DSMs to achieve business objectives , execute on CVG strategies, imp lant, revenue and expense goals

  • Drive cross BU sup port for key CVG programs/needs

  • Manage the CVG Champions Program to ensure proper execution of BU expectations . Drive accountability through adherence to deadlines and timely documentation of Champion related activities in Salesforce.com and completi on of other stated deliverables

People Management

  • Lead regional District Service Managers to exec ute on key goals and objectives

  • Manage own Service Team to deliver unsurpassed service, technical expertise and support the achieveme nt of implant and revenue goals

  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports; provides regular performance reviews and implements cor rective actions where necessary

  • Assist employees with individual devel opment planning

  • Responsible for DSM and Clinical Specialist staffing . Continually work to maintain a strong, diverse bench of Clinical Specialist and DSM talent for future hiring opportunities

Business Operations

  • Communicate CVG, regional and/or distri ct vision, goals and activities

  • Business Discipline: Sales support, inventory/OPC, credentialing, expense management, data privacy, PO Pendings , warrant y credits and required training

  • Ensure efficient, effective use of inventory, expenses and ass ets

  • Apply Customer Focused Quality Concepts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

  • BA/BS in engineering, life sciences, healthcare, nursing, exercise physiology or business

  • 5 years of successful professional experience

  • 3 years of experience directly managing employees in a healthcare organization

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (optional):

  • Demonstrated business acumen

  • Experience in a healthcare related discipline

  • Ability to learn and understand technical aspects of business

  • Ability to manage, coach and develop managers and employees

  • Capable of critical/strategic thinking; ability to execute strategy

  • Medtronic experience in role that interacts with CVG field organization

  • Knowledge of local cardiac customer base

  • Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure service coverage requirements for implants and follow-ups

  • Experience in sales, marketing, training, healthcare, technical services or related areas in the medical device industry

  • Training and experience with Lean Sigma principles

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards on page 6 here .

The provided base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):145,000 - 165,000

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
