We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Associate Brand Manager focused on development, support and delivery of distinctive guest experiences and programs for selected brands within the Sonesta portfolio of brands. This role will play a critical part in driving brand consistency and excellence by activating elements of the guest journey, including brand programs, operational supplies & equipment (OS&E), service culture, and more.
As an Associate Brand Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, training, strategy, and operations teams. Your work will support the activation of innovative guest experience programs at hotels across two-to three brands within our portfolio, which spans economy to upscale.
You will work closely with our franchise and managed operations teams, design, procurement, and strategy departments. You will be part of the team leading program lifecycle management, initial pilot activations, and ongoing refinement for specific brands or groups within the portfolio.
You will also be responsible for reviewing, sharing reporting and making recommendations that evaluate guest satisfaction of our hotels and brands through different platforms, such as Medallia or JD Power. At times you may also have project management tasks, be responsible for writing and documenting brand standards, and supporting logistics planning aspects of execution of our quality assurance program.
This position is preferred to be located onsite at our Newton Headquarters (3 days per week and 2 days remote), however a fully remote option will be taken into consideration.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with internal stakeholders from Marketing, Field Marketing, Operations, Development, Design & Construction, Procurement and Strategy & Innovation teams to create program standards and SOPs, develop training materials and move projects forward
Identifies and documents specifications for OSE (operational supplies and equipment), including sample management, costing, vendor details and operations ordering guides
Document and deploy program SOPs
Manages creation and deployment of monthly brand communications and engagement with operators of the given brand
Manages brand project and partnership statuses in Asana to ensure deadlines and expectations are met. Provides timely updates to key stakeholders and oversees schedules, project updates, and timelines for assigned projects.
Owns assigned brand projects from concept through piloting, execution, and ongoing lifecycle management. This includes development, ROI/insights evaluation, and stakeholder communication.
Manages department's invoice processing and budget sheet via Sonesta's financial tool; keeps track of vendor payments
Evaluates guest experience performance data, providing recommendations and actions for continuous improvement
Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape for brands and business opportunities, related to assigned projects
Creates business and brand update presentations for internal corporate, owner and hotel operations audiences
Collaborates with internal finance and legal stakeholders to execute brand-related contracts that impact assigned brand projects
Align with our loyalty and CRM teams to integrate loyalty program roadmaps into brand plans
Qualifications & Skills:
To be considered, direct experience in the hotel/hospitality industry, with a brand, franchise or multi-property management company, in a corporate environment, is required.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in hospitality marketing or related experience
College degree with a concentration in brand management, brand marketing, hospitality or related field preferred
Experience as a specialist, analyst, program/project manager or associate brand manager in guest experience, brand, procurement, program management or strategy related roles
Must be able to manage multiple projects at once, with proven examples and experiences of complex project management efforts
Proficiency in using Microsoft 365
Proficiency in reviewing data analytics, with third-party software such as Medallia or directly via export in Excel or Tableau
Strong relationship development, listening and networking skills

Pay Range
$75,000 to $90,000.
