We are seeking a Contracts Manager Energy – Remote. This remote position is based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office.

How will you contribute to the team?
Ensures compliance with contract terms and conditions, company policy, government requirements, applicable regulations, and/or other requirements.
Responsible for risk identification and risk mitigation recommendations.
Leads the development, structure and negotiation of contractual documents with the customer.
Supports prime contract requirements management flow down and assurance with organizations across company.
Acts as interpretative authority on the contract along with the legal department.
Provides analysis and recommendations to executive management for complex contractual issues.
Provides guidance on matters related to FAR interpretations, cost principles, and specific contract reporting issues.
Acts as advisor on contractual issues and communicate company risk across various functions as necessary.
Guides project management in the areas of change and commitments with the customer.
Ensures that contract management activities align with corporate objectives.
Assures contract requirement compliance and meeting customer expectations
Addresses complex contracting issues through resolution.
Supports the development of proposals, technical volumes, estimate validation
Performs other duties as assigned.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree required in a business-related field.
Minimum of 10-15 years of related experience.
Thorough knowledge of prime contract administration.
Cost plus award fee contract management experience.
Experience in the application of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, preferably with the Department of Energy.
Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve poorly defined problems.
Self-driven, highly organized and disciplined.
Must adhere to highest standards of ethical business conduct.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Advanced writing skills.
Working knowledge of contract law and contract terms and conditions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially with respect to conveying highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work as a team member and stands out when leading efforts. Demonstrated strength with relationship management and negotiation and conflict resolution.
Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of Oracle Applications preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Recognized as a strong leader and strong procurement expert at the company.
Creative with a keen attention to detail.
CPCM or CFCM preferred.
Must be a U.S citizen in order to be considered.
