Overview
Responsible for the preparation of earnings calls and ongoing investor communications materials, maintaining relationships with sell-side and buy-side analysts, tracking research reports on the company, analyzing the shareholder base, and helping to maintain an ongoing strategy to attract and engage potential investors.
Responsibilities
Support a targeted strategy for investor relations, ensuring investor relations initiatives are effectively linked to corporate goals and deliver a high-quality, data-driven, and consistent message to investors.
Maintain positive relationships with the investment community, including institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and others who make or influence stock purchase decisions. Broaden company awareness with the investor community through conferences, presentations, meetings, and other communication channels.
Identify and track key company-specific themes and topics for investor discussions and monitor external themes that are relevant to the company's investor communications. Develop strong internal relationships to stay current on business strategy, plans and results.
Prepare and develop quarterly financial communications, including quarterly earnings press release and presentation and quarterly earnings call, drafting talking points and responses, coordinating script preparation, and coordinating analyst follow-up calls. Support the external reporting process with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings such as the 10-K, annual report, Sustainability report, and other supporting material as needed.
Develop and prepare ongoing investor communications materials, including conference presentations and investor day materials as applicable.
Maintain expertise on competitor actions and industry trends.
Prepare periodic updates for the company's Board of Directors on investor relations strategy and activity.
Other duties, as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of business experience in Investor Relations or similar finance roles.
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical.
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
Proficient with ERP systems, report writing, and Microsoft Office products (namely Excel).
