Overview:In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Senior Financial Management Consultant to support a federal government agency. *This is on site in Washington, DC.*
What Youll do:
You will focus on coordination, accounting, planning, and administrative functions.
You will provides business management functions such as budgeting, financial analysis, and planning and control of funding and allocation of funding.
Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals. Functions include business process analysis to describe and create defined business and operations controls and processes.
Report current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
Required knowledge and skills
Bachelor’s degree and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree with a major in any field that includes, or was supplemented by, at least 24 semester hours in fields like accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
15 years of experience in a financial field
Abilities
Possess excellent computer literacy with the ability to function a multi-system software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and SharePoint.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage actions to meet changing deadlines and requirements within a high volume, high stress environment.
Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated professionalism.
Ability to solve problems through systematic analysis of processes with sound judgment and a realistic understanding of relevant issues.

Salary Range:
Salary range is $95,000-115,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
