Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for a System Engineering Certification of Flight Readiness Integrator to join our team in Houston, TX.
Overview:
The purpose/function of this position is to perform system engineering integration within EVA and Human Systems Mobility Program (EHP) for Artemis lunar surface missions. Tasks include providing leadership for and performing Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) integration within EHP and between EHP and partners programs. The person will work at Johnson Space Center with a large team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) personnel in a hybrid environment.
Perform integration with EHP program and project offices, as well as stakeholders in order to assist in development of the EHP CoFR processes.
Perform integration with external EHP stakeholders that include the M2M Program to integrate the EHP CoFR approach with higher level and cross-program CoFR approaches.
Assist in integration and development of EHP CoFR process documentation, including coordination of EHP program and project office CoFR responsibilities (endorsements and sub-endorsements).
Assist in development of and scheduling of EHP CoFR milestones.
Assist in EHP CoFR milestone execution planning activities (e.g. participant and support expectations, content coordination, personnel training, dry run planning).
Assist in coordination and tracking of CoFR open work items and process lessons learned throughout EHP CoFR process milestone activities.
Perform integration within EHP to align the CoFR approach with other partner processes like certification and operations.
Provide support to integration forums associated with EHP CoFR process development and M2M flight readiness integration.
Required:
A BS degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree with a minimum of 15 years applicable experience
At least 5 years experience with NASA CoFR process preparation and/or execution
At least 5 years system integration experience with multiple NASA stakeholders
Experience in development of formal process documentation
Self-motivated and proactive in integrating/communicating with others without a lot of hands on direction. Ability to lead specific tasks when needed
Ability to work within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA centers
Ability to identify integration concerns and gaps in information and communicate concerns to leadership in a diplomatic and constructive manner
Skill in identifying problems, researching, and analyzing information and applying and interpreting concepts and principles to achieve solutions
Ability to perform cross-program integration with multiple people for various purposes in parallel
Well-developed skills in both written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
DESIRED:
Experience in organizing and leading an integration team
Experience in milestone review process preparation and/or execution
Experience in EHP program, project, or stakeholder offices
