CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned management consulting and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Security Analyst to join our team supporting a National Institutes of Health client. The candidate will provide System Security support including the design, development, and continuous security monitoring of specialized applications that support mission-critical scientific research activities.
The position is required on a part-time basis (10-20 hours/week) and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as first line of contact with Federal ISSO to ensure smooth and timely integrations to comply with NIH security controls.
Conduct security controls assessments by utilizing NIST Special Publication 800-53a and perform stakeholder interviews, examination of documentation and technical testing of the required security controls.
Maintain and document security plans, contingency plans, compliance, safeguards, risks, milestones, security controls assessment, and understanding of inheritance, and other security artifacts as directed by NIH.
Maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO), and other security compliance with NIH security policies and procedures.
Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest security issues.
Active Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP®) certification through the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.
Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver insights and interpret data reports to the clients.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years’ experience.
5+ years of experience implementing enterprise security.
Experience with NIH or another federal agency is a plus.
Must be able to obtain a NIH Public Trust.
