Job Title: Civil Project Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with extensive experience in civil siteworks for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil siteworks, including underground utilities and concrete work. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction practices.


Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage civil siteworks projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


• Siteworks: Oversee all civil siteworks activities, including grading, drainage, paving, and landscaping.


• Underground Utilities: Manage the installation and maintenance of underground utilities such as water, sewer, stormwater, and electrical systems.


• Concrete Work: Supervise concrete work, including foundations, slabs, and other structural elements.


• Design and Review: Collaborate with design teams to review and approve civil engineering plans and specifications.


• Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company standards and safety protocols.


• Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, procurement, and financial reporting.


• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.


• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and materials.


• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil siteworks, underground utilities, and concrete work for commercial projects.


• Skills: Strong project management skills, proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a thorough understanding of construction practices and safety regulations.


• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
