Mission
Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) is a 100% Tribally owned, Native American SBA 8(a) small business of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP). WFS is part of a portfolio of companies managed by Waséyabek Development Company, LLC, a 100% Tribally owned economic development firm focused on income diversification on behalf of NHBP that reaches beyond gaming is a well-funded, experienced small business, with substantial liquid assets and experience in federal contracting. WFS has borrowing capacity to meet the daily cash needs of new business development, new award support, and operational working capital. WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services.
Responsible for day-to-day management of the WE2 8(a) JV warehouse staff located at the three NETL sites in Oregon, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Also responsible for ensuring staff works safely and effectively to perform their tasks in accordance with the approved SOW. Ensures that staff members are appropriately assigned tasks and are trained to perform them. Performs Management Field Observations (MFOs) to identify any safety, quality, or cost effectiveness issues and yearly performance reviews of employees. This task includes purchasing, under a firm fixed price task order, so managing to the established budget is critical. Soliciting and responding to customer feedback and maintaining an excellent relationship is required.

Safety – Enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.
