Volt is immediately hiring Principal Signal Processing Engineer in Aurora, CO.
As Principal Signal Processing Engineer you will:
The candidate will support the development and maintenance of a complex and highly visible SIGINT subsystem.
Perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, use case development, system and operational requirements, interface architecture and ConOps, and requirement/system validation.
Support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning/ development, interfacing with personnel from other organizations.
Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software teams and test personnel.
Attend technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the maintenance of his/her project.
Define external and internal interfaces.
Provide document review and resolves technical systems engineering and integration issues.
Support ECP efforts as required.
Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology.
Interacting with customers and end-users.
Providing and briefing status to program management and customers.
This is a 12 Monthfull time Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
Required Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with generating DoDAF architecture views with Cameo.
Experience with Agile or DevOps development.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with systems engineering principles and activities on a large government software development contract.
Experience being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams.
Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications.
Experience in the RF domain.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration.
Pay Rate:$87.00 - $95.00 per hour
