Job Summary
Comcast is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Procurement to lead the professional/technology services spend category. This high-visibility leadership role will partner with executive leadership across the Comcast Cable, NBCU and Sky to develop innovative and industry-leading solutions to manage Comcast's professional/technology services ecosystem.
Comcast's Enterprise Procurement team creates, manages, and improves business outcomes from the company's global third-party supplier ecosystem. The Professional/Technology Services procurement team works as a fully integrated enterprise function with presence in diverse global locations like Chennai, Bangalore, Milan, London, Munich, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey, overseeing all Professional/Technology services engagements across Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. The team is currently developing and executing on an ambitious and exciting multi-year journey to transform the company's professional/technology services landscape.
The Manager, Enterprise Procurement will support all service-related needs of the industry's most innovative technology and business team supporting Comcast's 30+ million customers in the US and collaborate across the enterprise team to support similar scopes at Sky and NBCU. This leadership role will manage a supplier ecosystem to deliver on the company's business priorities which span a wide spectrum from new product launches to improving customer experience. Additionally, this role will directly interact with and influence senior executives across the company, and at suppliers, on various strategic priorities. The individual will also play a leading role to contribute towards cross-category and cross-company enterprise programs which include sustainability, supplier diversity, supplier management, supplier Net Promoter Score and customer experience improvements.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership and execution of the Professional/Technology Services category
Drive and continuously improve the sourcing process to deliver on the company's go-to-market objectives and savings targets
Partner with the relevant technology and business executive teams to design, implement and improve all supplier and market facing interactions for the company
Over the next 24 months, design, develop and execute on a vision to deliver on the ambitious agenda of the company by:
simplifying the professional/technology services supplier ecosystem through long range planning and execution
right-sizing and transforming the use of supplier partners across the enterprise
reducing Comcast's overall business risk by creating and implementing innovative commercial and capability constructs into deals
Proactively develop recommendations on transformation of the professional/technology services ecosystem to address the changing needs of the company and evolving market trends
Lead all market facing activity for in-scope category - this includes managing large RFPs, negotiating master services agreements, and reviewing statements of work
Leverage and enhance advanced analytics to monitor and improve supplier performance
Drive programs within the Enterprise Procurement team to improve customer experience, increase automation, and enhance speed to market
