Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an Integrations Data Engineer.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with business analysts, software developers, network engineers, and project managers to gather system requirements, understand business processes, and translate these needs into technical specifications for integration solutions

  • Integration Testing and Troubleshooting: Plan and conduct thorough integration testing to verify the functionality, performance, and stability of integrated systems; Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, applying problem-solving techniques to resolve errors and system incompatibilities

  • System Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of integrated systems to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies; Implement proactive measures and improvements to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and improve the overall user experience

  • Data Integrity and Security: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data during transmission between systems; Implement encryption, authentication, and other security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and comply with industry regulations

  • Middleware Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and manage middleware tools, such as ESBs (Enterprise Service Buses), message queues, and API gateways, to facilitate the flow of data between systems; Maintain these tools to ensure they operate efficiently and are properly aligned with the organization's integration requirements

  • API Development and Management: Design, develop, and manage APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that enable systems to interact and exchange data; Ensure APIs are secure, reliable, and scalable to handle growing data volumes and user demand.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • Strong understanding of system integration principles and best practices, and validation

  • Proficiency in integration tools and technologies, including middleware, API management platforms, and messaging protocols

  • In-depth knowledge of data security practices, including encryption, authentication, and secure data transfer methods

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools for version control (Git, SVN)

  • Expertise in Spark and SQL programming

  • Experience in Synapse/ Data Bricks

  • Master Data experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Experience in Financial ERP systems is a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
