We are seeking an ERP Test Engineer - Workday to play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our Workday systems, which support our life-saving operations. In this role, you'll test key modules, including HCM, Supply Chain/Procurement, and Finance, by designing and implementing Unit and User Acceptance Test efforts. Collaborating with business and technical teams, you'll create test strategies, plans, scenarios, and metrics to troubleshoot issues and deliver seamless, high-quality system functionality that empowers our mission.

As an ERP Test Engineer, you'll get to:

  • Oversee all aspects of testing, including planning, execution, and documentation, to ensure systems meet business requirements.

  • Apply test methodologies and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with business partners, functional experts, and technical teams to define testing requirements and create test scenarios.

  • Lead the coordination, execution, and reporting of program testing activities.

  • Test Workday configurations thoroughly, resolving issues promptly and assessing cross-functional impacts.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including test strategies, plans, and scenarios.

  • Track and report testing progress using established metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education


  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Knowledge of applicable business application(s) required.

  • Knowledge of automated applications systems, system development life cycle, and project management principles required.

  • Knowledge of formal defect management required.

Licenses/ Certifications

Workday Certification in one or more modules required.

Skills/ Abilities


  • Five years of experience in End-to-End medium to large ERP implementation testing required.

  • Strong understanding of the principles of testing required.

  • In depth knowledge of formal testing methodologies required.

  • Comprehension of cross-functional touchpoints in Workday between various modules required.

  • Experience leading project team/business partners in preparation, planning, and execution of testing of Workday system required.

  • Testing experience, and relevant background in HCM, Supply Chain/Procurement, and Finance systems required.

  • Experience with Automated Testing Solutions is a preferred.

  • Experience of Azure DevOps is a preferred.

  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
