Systems Engineer




Orlando, FL




Contract Position




$65.89/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification/validation, cost and risk assessments, and effectiveness analyses for total systems solutions.


• Translate customer or product requirements into logical, systematic systems solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.


• Conduct requirements analysis, traceability/flow down, and interface definition to develop hardware and software specifications.


• Support systems engineering lifecycle processes, including functional analysis, trade studies, and system architecting using MBSE methodologies.


• Define verification methodologies and perform detailed system verification activities.


• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, and present findings using PowerPoint presentations.


• Support integration and test activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.


• 
  Technical Skills:
  
  
  
  • Experience with requirements definition and management tools such as DOORS.
  
  
  • Proficiency with the systems engineering lifecycle, including stakeholder needs, system architecting (using MBSE tools like Cameo), and requirements definition (SRS, DRS).
  
  
  • Demonstrated experience in translating system-level requirements into testable modular hardware/software structures.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Tools: Strong experience with DOORS, Cameo, and Microsoft Office Suite.


• 
  Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
