The Financial Planning Analyst contributes to multiple FP&A processes and deliverables and provides support to Executive Management through the development of reporting, presentation and analyses on business performance and ad hoc topics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Updates cash flow forecast models, variance analysis, and other financial performance tools.
Monitors operational statistics; report trends, variances and issues; take appropriate action including proactively notifying business or financial partners.
Assists in building business cases and perform due diligence on potential opportunities, deals, partnerships, etc.
Applies financial and economic concepts including financial modeling, economic analysis, cash flow (DCF), profitability, earnings, balance sheet, taxes, financial ratios, alignment to KPIs, ROIC/NPV/IRR, cost of capital benchmarks, market analysis, and strategic analysis.
Assists with peer companies financial benchmarking.
Analyzes performance, identifies areas of risk and opportunity, and makes recommendations to finance and business leadership for improvements.
Develops relevant reporting including data preparation, report creation and quality control; strive to deliver insight, consistent data and effective visualizations.
Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and business modelling skills. Familiarity with EPM systems is a plus.
Highly motivated, self-starter with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management or finance required.
3-5 years of related experience in finance
Prior experience in investment banking is a plus.
MBA or CPA a plus
Working Conditions
Hybrid work environment, with typical Monday - Thursday working with the team in the Myers Office and Friday work from home.
