Duties and Responsibilities
Future Market Analysis : The leader conducts comprehensive research and analysis to identify emerging markets, technologies, and trends that are likely to shape the industry in the next 3-5 years. They keep a pulse on technological advancements, regulatory changes, and market disruptions that could impact the company's business landscape.
Scenario Planning : The leader engages in scenario planning exercises to anticipate and prepare for different future possibilities. They analyze potential market scenarios, assess risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to position the company for success in each scenario. This helps the company adapt and stay ahead of the competition in a rapidly changing business environment.
Strategic Partnerships : The leader focuses on building strategic partnerships with other companies, industry players, and startups that align with the company's long-term goals. These partnerships may involve joint ventures, licensing agreements, technology collaborations, or other forms of strategic alliances to leverage complementary strengths and access new markets.
Innovation and R&D : The leader collaborates with the research and development (R&D) teams to drive innovation initiatives that fuel future growth. They identify new product or service opportunities, assess market viability, and work closely with R&D team to develop and launch innovative solutions that meet customer needs and anticipate future demands.
Long-Term Sales and Revenue Strategies : The leader develops long-term sales and revenue strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. They identify talent gaps, recruit top talent, provide mentorship and training, and create a culture of innovation and strategic thinking within the business development team.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration
MBA a plus
5-10 years of business experience
