Job Description:

SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the welder is to perform welding and fabrication of metal products for carts, cabinets or stainless tables and carts for Jamco Products. The responsibilities listed below are not all inclusive.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout of product.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on product requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to job specifications

• Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices
• Follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs
• Operate overhead cranes, calipers, and basic hand and air tools
• Perform all duties in conjunction with Jamco procedures.
• Operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air tools
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by a Lead

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE

• High school Diploma.
• 3 to 4 years mig and tig welding experience required.
• Tech college preferred
