Indirect - Material Handler, Plastic at Scepter Manufacturing, LLC in Miami, Oklahoma

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Uses material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies to move products and labels to and from the production floor.
• Retrieve Raw Material from raw material staging area.
• Ensures delivery of materials to production is timely in order to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels of raw material.
• Assist with shredding, pelletizing, tagging, managing flash, and contaminated material.
• Assists with production as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized working environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be very safety conscious with a record of Hazard Identification and Risk Control.
• Strong Reading, mathematical, and communication skills required
• Forklift certification from Scepter will be required
• Lock Out/ Tag Out certification required
• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office products preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 6 to 12 months manufacturing experience
• Minimum of one year forklift experience preferred
