The IT Technician Intern will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company computers and peripherals, and common computer-related problems. This individual will come in close contact with other company employees and should be prepared to provide customer-oriented technical support when required.
Qualifications
Support-level knowledge in Windows 10 operation systems and/or iOS
Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, Subnetting, Routing, DHCP, and DNS
In-depth knowledge of PC hardware and software and must be able to correct PC related problems in a timely manner
Demonstrate the capacity for organization and prioritization in a technical environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Analytical skills with an ability to evaluate problems and issues, make recommendations for courses of action
Interpersonal skills necessary to work well with others in teams and collaborative work situations
Ability to accept change and adapt to organizational change and shifting priorities

Responsibilities
Maintain, configure, support, and implement desktop computing hardware and software technologies, both on premise and as well as cloud-based platforms such as Office 365 and other SaaS systems
Troubleshoot technical issues, provide technical support, and facilitate trouble tickets
Execute hardware, software, and licensing inventory tracking and control
Maintains spare computers and monitors for quick replacement until malfunctioning unit can be repaired or replaced
Troubleshoot and maintain wired and wireless company network
