Maintenance Technician at ORBIS Corporation in Greenville, Texas

Job Description:

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.


• Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.


• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.


• Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.


• Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.


• Prepare maintenance reports, document, and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using EAM.


• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed.


• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.


• Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience


• Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting


• Electrical troubleshooting


• Blueprint reading

Shift Hours:

• 2/2/3 Rotating schedule 6a-6p OR 6p-6a
