Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Communications Specialist & Administrative Coordinator who will bridge the gap between technical communications and essential administrative tasks. This unique role combines IT department support with creative communications, event planning, and day-to-day administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities
IT Communications:
Develop and implement IT communication strategies to keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged.
Draft, edit, and disseminate IT-related announcements, newsletters, and updates.
Maintain and update the IT department's internal website and communication channels.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the IT department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
Coordinate and order lunches for team meetings and events.
Plan and execute IT department events, including team-building activities, training sessions, and celebrations.
Manage office supplies and inventory for the IT department.
Project Coordination:
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between IT team members and other departments.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of work experience in communications, preferably within a corporate or IT environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience with event planning and administrative tasks is a plus.
