Position Summary
The Territory Development Executive with our Heavy Truck division, (TDE), creates business relationships, generates new revenue streams through new "nameplate" conquest sales as well as retaining and growing business with current clients, through increase wallet share of CDK solutions. Through face-to-face sales activities and working in collaboration with both internal and external channel partners the TTSE identifies business opportunities, develops sales strategies and manages sales cycle to grow sales of strategic solutions, expand CDK's share of wallet with existing client base and drive new conquest business. Ultimately achieving assigned sales plan, working under the guidance of Director of Sales.
Territory includes the following locations: TN, KY, WV, IN S OH and S IL - preferred locations to live: Nashville, Louisville, Cincinnati or Indianapolis
Responsibilities :
Set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota:
Identify new opportunities with existing customers
Increase market share through conquest sales
Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach
Develop an overall sales plan and forecast short and long-term sales results.
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality.
Interface and work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.
Understand industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and/or territory.
Focus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs and bringing forth integrated solutions that deliver on clients' and prospects' desired business outcomes.
Diagnose and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner with appropriate resolution for the customer and company.
Qualifications
5 years of B2B outside sales experience; preferably non transactional
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience growing market share through conquest sales. (Cold Calling).
Proficient maintaining/growing business through increased wallet share spend of existing clients.
Experience targeting and accessing key clients/prospects stakeholders and ultimate decision makers and influencing decision making process.
Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining outcome focus sales strategies.
Experience using consultative selling to align with client's desired outcomes.
Proficient at negotiating and closing opportunities.
Willing to take calculated risks to drive results.
Ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Provide customer support based on the needs of the client
Adept at developing and managing sales territory strategies.
Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience using Salesforce
Ability to travel 75% or more, including overnight travel
Knowledge of the Heavy Truck Industry, or experience selling into the vertical.- preferred
Salary = $100K + Uncapped Commissions
