Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to provide backup assistance to Energy department in case of absence, demand, weather, etc. This role will have the ability to perform multiple tasks when needed and maintain a positive attitude toward the work, customers and staff at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform service, install, and remove tanks as needed
Deliver propane, DEF, petroleum, grease, and antifreeze
Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company procedure and regulations
Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
Understand and safely operate equipment
Follow all laws, regulations and safety rules
Provide excellent customer service
Maintain positive communication with supervisor and customers, as needed
Repair pumps as needed
Deliver fuel as needed
Provide backup for Energy department as needed
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Class A or B CDL including Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, with acceptable driving history
Outside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plus
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize
Ability to work independently
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of sales, delivery or service experience in the petroleum industry preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk 1 to 5 miles, climb steps/ ladders and lift and carry up to 75lbs
