Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Cross Asset Sales Assistant, in Atlanta, Georgia. The team you will join is responsible for cross-asset institutional fixed income sales which includes money markets, investment grade credit, municipals, agency debt, treasuries, and other fixed income products with a list of assigned buy-side institutional accounts. As a sales assistant and junior member of the team, you will be tasked with all aspects of supporting the sales team, sales and settlement process and customer service. The desired candidate will have an interest in fixed income markets, strong multitasking and client service skills, and knowledge of operations and trade settlements.
In this role, you will:
Provide assistance to Institutional Fixed Income Sales Representatives in support of sales activities
Provide customer service by solving operational issues and ensuring trade settlement
Support the commitment to customers' satisfaction through fast and courteous service via telephone and written correspondence
Process customer service and internal requests for account maintenance
Perform a variety of tasks for transactions or processes that require knowledge of institutional fixed income brokerage products and services
Execute solicited/unsolicited investment orders as necessary.
Provide back-up for sales reps and other desks
Monitor and track referrals and sales results
Provide training or work direction to junior level staff
Proactively identify and mitigate risk
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Cross-Asset Sales support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience with Fixed income or money market products, municipals, agency debt, treasuries and other investment grade fixed income products
Active FINRA SIE, 7 and 63 (or 66) licenses available for transfer
Prior selling experience in other Capital Markets products also considered
Meticulous attention regarding all details, adaptive to a fast-paced environment and able to perform under pressure with high motivation and energy
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field or equivalent experience

Registration for FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
