Position Overview
Responsible for managing the Data Integrity (DI) Team and providing ongoing oversight for HMDA, CRA, and 1071 data collection as well as new regulations and updates to regulations issued by the CFPB affecting HMDA, CRA, and 1071 data collection. Collaborates with the Compliance Officers for Wintrust Mortgage, Centralized Loan Operations and non-bank entities to verify new or existing regulations are being followed. Responsible for performing quality assurance on all data submitted annually to the regulators and for reviewing CRA qualified donations, services, and community development loans.
What You’ll Do
Manage and provide guidance and instruction to DI Team with regard to new regulations, enforcement actions, regulatory FAQs, regulatory data standards and expectation, and updates to existing regulations issued by CFPB.
Review for accuracy HMDA, CRA, and 1071 fields entered by Centralized Loan Operations, Wintrust Mortgage and non-bank entities. Monitor the output and quality results of the processes assigned to the team.
Complete annual submission of HMDA, CRA, and 1071 data.
Assist with HMDA, CRA, and 1071 internal and external exams.
Keep abreast of business policies and related laws and regulations, guidance and other legal and regulatory developments, which directly affect business practices, to ensure review assessments are appropriately analyzing and identifying risk.
Monitor existing/new products and lines of business for HMDA, CRA, and 1071 reporting applicability as well as internal changes that impact the accuracy of specific reporting data elements.
Coordinate and review for CRA qualified donations, services, and community development loans.
Qualifications
5-7 years of Banking Regulatory Compliance experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
CRCM preferred.
