Position
: Senior Data Analyst
Job Location: 702 SW 8th St, Bentonville, AR 72716
Duties: Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develops tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assumes duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Providing data insights using tableau to derive and drive business decisions; Analyzing and developing complex reports using Google SQL; Using GCP Big Query to perform data analysis; Using GCP Composer and Airflow to orchestrate ELT data pipelines; Implementing and analyzing slowly changing dimensions using python and Informatica PowerCenter; Using Collibra DQ, Data plex and informatica IDQ to enforce data quality rules on dimension tables to perform data classification, data validation, data cleansing, data verification, threshold deification and data mismatch parity analysis; Collaborating with data science team and performed visualizations using R; Identifying the Critical Data elements in Collibra Data governance center and documenting the data quality thresholds; Performing customer identity parity analysis on GCP Hive Meta store using Presto SQL via Data Discovery tool; Identifying and solving the data issues by analyzing complex SQLs in GCP Cloud Console for Big Query; and Working on GCP IAM roles to enforce digital platform access restrictions by assigning proper Active directory security groups.
