Travel Requirement: Up to four weeks of domestic travel and six weeks of international travel per year.
Position: Process Engineers II
Responsibilities:
Design and upgrade electromechanical equipment to improve reliability and yield;
Maintain efficiency and upkeep/upgrade of critical manufacturing equipment;
Develop and recommend new processes and technologies which demonstrate levels of statistical control to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality;
Inspect performance of machinery, equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality;
Develop and/or implement systems improvement projects and support maintenance and production groups in resolving technical and engineering issues;
Review capital equipment fabrication activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, regulatory safety standards, and user requirements;
Ensure that product quality features meet product specifications and comply with process validation requirements;
Generate, review, and approve engineering, manufacturing and quality procedures necessary to support equipment validation/revalidation, launch, and normal production schedules; and
Initiate, review/approve change requests, and develop implementation solutions to support operational needs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
The employer requires the candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and at least two (2) years of work experience
as a Mechanical Engineer or in a closely related occupation improving manufacturing techniques and inspecting performance of machinery to ensure product quality.
Candidate must also have the following:
Demonstrated ability developing manufacturing processes that demonstrate levels of statistical control as well as validating new equipment and process changes, such as FAT, IQ, OQ or PQ, gained through two (2) years of work experience;
Demonstrated ability implementing systems improvement projects and supporting maintenance and production groups in resolving technical and engineering issues gained through two (2) years of work experience;
Demonstrated ability generating, reviewing and approving engineering, manufacturing and quality procedures to support equipment validation/revalidation, launch, and normal production schedules (cGMP documentation) gained through one (1) year of work experience; and
Demonstrated ability working with Corrective Action Preventive Action and training departmental technicians and operators to ensure sufficient expertise exists within the manufacturing work centers gained through two (2) years of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary: Ninety-one thousand one hundred thirty-five dollars and ninety-eight cents per year to one hundred eleven thousand one hundred thirty-five dollars and ninety-eight cents per year.
